My journey into natural wellness began as both a scientist and a mother.

As a medicinal chemist and scientific evaluator, I spent 15 years at Health Canada helping protect Canadians from harmful food additives and contaminants. But my understanding of health became deeply personal when I began formulating simple, natural creams in my kitchen to soothe my youngest daughter’s eczema.

After losing my parents and close family members to cancer, and witnessing a young girl survive terminal cancer through profound lifestyle changes and natural supportive care, my perspective shifted. I realized prevention and nourishment are just as important as protection.

That conviction led me to create Nia Pure Nature and Piur1: pure botanical skincare and supplements made without fillers, designed to nourish the body naturally.
